Colour Pop 88's
How often do you see 3 colors of pasta in 1 box? Not that often!
These multi colored pasta treats in natural and beet and paprika dough are inspired by my love of the shape Barchette. I took the round version and paired 3 colors in 1 box for something a little unusual.
Highly versatile, serve these with miso butter, pesto, or just sautéed veggies.
Pasta: Semolina flour, OO flour, water, extra virgin olive oil, paprika, beet powder
Allergens: Contains wheat
4 oz = 1 serving/ 1 order
‘I have no time’ : drizzle with your favorite olive oil and crack some pepper and chilli crisp on top. Another idea is the cook it up, cool it and add it to a salad. It’s also a great vinaigrette scoop
‘I have some time’: Heat through one of our sauces and add the cooked pasta to sauce, add some torn basil and a quick splash of olive oil, black pepper and salt to taste. Another idea is to make a miso butter and cover the pasta in this. Deee-licious!
‘I have loads of time’: Take a box of cherry tomatoes and sauté in a little olive oil and sliced garlic, cook until nicely cooked through, add the cooked pasta with a little of the pasta water and gently move around the pan to coat the pasta. Keep combining a little water to the sauce until you get a ‘creamy’ texture, it can take a couple of minutes. Fresh basil and mint or even chives would be a great herb to use on this so sprinkle at the end to ensure they are fresh.
Taste and season where necessary with salt, pepper.
