This is a fun version of our classic Barchette but with a twist. We use activated charcoal for the dots and lay them in an abstract pattern so every piece is unique.
This makes for a striking centerpiece for any meal.
Pasta: Semolina flour, OO flour, water, extra virgin olive oil, activated charcoal

‘I have no time’ : drizzle with your favorite olive oil and crack some pepper and lemon zest on top. Another idea is the cook it up, cool it and add it to a salad. It’s also a great vinaigrette scoop
‘I have some time’: Heat through one of our sauces and add the cooked pasta to sauce, add some chopped parsley and a quick splash of olive oil, black pepper and salt to taste.
‘I have loads of time’: Take a box of cherry tomatoes and sauté in a little olive oil and sliced garlic, cook until nicely cooked through, add the cooked pasta with a little of the pasta water and gently move around the pan to coat the pasta. Keep combining a little water to the sauce until you get a ‘creamy’ texture, it can take a couple of minutes. Fresh basil and mint or even chives would be a great herb to use on this so sprinkle at the end to ensure they are fresh.
Taste and season where necessary with salt, pepper, or grated lemon zest.
